so ive heard from multiple people that there is this silly illusion that fire mages arent effective in PvP.. i laugh at you. I made a character named firefirefire, so naturally, i thought it funny to do FULL fire. im talkin 61 points in fire. why stray from the name? i exaggerate not, when i tell you that i destroy everything, and rarely die even when ganged up on. i basically only pvp, not that i dont quest or do the occasional dungeoun, but i just enjoy annihiliating other real people, and pve usually ends up being too time consuming for my schedule. if you get a sheep off its over, even without the sheep.. even without nova, a dragons breath and blink can get u away from just about anything and setup/supply you with time to cast and rebegin the fight, and of course blast wave is always lovely, the proc'd sprint thingy (cant think of the correct terminology here) dont know how many times that and/or a combination of that and impact have saved my life. i basically just made this thread because i dont understand the perception behind some people thinkin fire isnt good pvp. in bg's im always either first or damn close to it in killing blows and HK's, and always right up at the top in damage, and usually rarely die (have become very efficient in escaping when needed), not to mention the ridiculousness of crit % you get with a fire mage, any thoughts?
sheep + pyro + fireball (if given the time, if not, several scorches) + fireblast + blastwave (at this point they should be right in front of you, if battling another caster of course your the one running at them) + slap em in the face with a drago breath + if not dead yet blink behind em (if melee class) and begin any sequence u want at this point, usually a few more scorches finishing with another fireblast = brutal death
:)
