So yes I am still new to this game. Been playing for 6 months total now and have 3 days played at lvl 70. So Ive been trying to get my hands on that scarab trinket.
So here are my questions
1. How do I run CoT dungeons?
-people tell me theres a portal in shatt, in the worlds end tavern...I have never seen this. And when I talk to that women, she does...nothing for me. I am neutral with them
2. Do I need to run old hillsbrad first in order to run BM?
3. Or do I have to have a certain rep?

A few quick answers for you:
1. Caverns of Time are located in Tanaris, east side of the map just by the pirate bit. The portal in shatt is only available to those with revered status with Keepers of Time.
2. Yes you will need to run Old hillsbrad before you are allowed access to Black Morass.
3. You do not need any rep to run Old hillsbrad.
And by the by, the scarab is a great healing trinket but has a low drop rate. If you're really lucky it'll drop on your first run like it did for me! xD

And CoT is one of the fastest reps to gain, at least up to revered. So, if there is anything you are wanting from that rep, you should get it pretty quickly. The quests give a massive rep reward and BM is so fast and easy to run, if you were to get a static group, you could punch out a lot of rep in a relatively short amount of time.
Is there a quest i need to complete in old hills to gain access to BM? or just complete old hills to gain access? If theres a quest, could you please link it =P

you have to complete the q you get in old hillsbrad before you can enter BM, but I'm not sure if I'm correct.

I think the first quest is when you get a tour of the Caverns of Time area. Find questgiver when you take first dragon into area (from meeting stone). She will walk you around the area and babble a bit.
Once complete, you get another quest when you enter the OHB instance. There is an NPC (next to dragon) that gives you bombs to go blow up a few camps. Then, after you blow up the camps, go into the tower, where Thrall is hanging out in the basement (in jail). Speak to him, and it will start the escort quest.
REMEMBER - make sure everyone is ready and is on the quest, or else they won't get attunement to BM.
The Thrall escort quest is a lot of fun. Just follow him around, and kill lots of bad guys. Eventually, he will stop when talking with a girl (top floor of an inn).
Once he stops talking to girl, you need to talk to her to start the final fight sequence. Then, go outside, do fight sequence, kill last boss, and an NPC will appear. This NPC will complete the final quest, and give you attument to BM.
