Well perhaps the question should have been "Should I roll?"

I'm heading into Arc soon with my Healadin and am curious about http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=28418;source=live

Since flash of light crits are a big part of my healing strategy this seems like a nice replacement for one of the crappy trinkets I currently have. I haven't focused on getting the good trinkets yet. I think I'm still using the spell crit trinket from Hellfire Peninsula quest. This would be an upgrade. Is this something that a Healadin has a "right" to be rolling on? I'm sure that my group will have a dps caster who won't be thrilled about having to compete with me on the roll.

If it drops....should I roll? Or pass and focus on getting one of the more traditional healing trinkets?

In my mind, it's simple really. "Will it improve my role as a PvE group member?"

if so, then yep. Especially in a pug. I can see passing for a guildy who has had their heart set on it.

Agreed.

If it is better than what you currently have, then you have the right to roll "Need". Doesn't matter what anyone says.

And yes, crit is important for healing Paladins.

Of course, this would barely be an upgrade for you, so if another caster is crying for it, it may not be worth your time. They will get replaced shorty by much better trinkets.

This was sort of my thinking. I only run PUG's and do my best to be fair and pass/greed on "side-grades". I just wanted to be sure I wasn't considering rolling on something that really was designed for someone else (warriors rolling on Paly plate for example). I think I will need on this if it drops...unless there is someone in the group who is grinding for it and jerks my heartstrings a little.

Thanks all
