Cat Form Gear @ 70Follow

#1 May 27 2008 at 7:08 AM Rating: Default
Hey guys, my druid is 68 and quickly approaching 70 (flight form at 68 ftw btw (: ). I have been looking at the pvp rewards from bgs, and it all seems to have plus spell damage/plus healing on them. Now I don't think it's a bad idea to have plus healing/plus damage, because throwing a heal once in awhile is helpful. But is that the best gear for a feral cat in pvp/pve? Any info would would be appreciated.

The FERAL gear will be Dragonhide gear. I think Kodohide is healer stuff and I think that Wyrmhide is for OOMkins.

And yes, even feral gear has +INT and heals. If you all around PVP(throw heals on a teammate instead yourself, or shapeshift alot), it's also nice for that small break in action and YOU need a quick heal to continue the battle.

For Ferals, Season 1, Season 2, and the blue rep PvP gear has healing on it. Starting with S3, the +healing has been replaced with crit, hit, and armor pen. Make of that what you will for PvP.

For PvE, I think +healing on your feral gear is mostly wasted, whether it's soloing, 5-mans, heroics, or raids. You can get more +healing on a staff or MH/OH and just use a weapon swap macro or add-on. Or, you can take Nurturing Instincts as part of your cookie-cutter 0/44/11+6 Feral spec.
