Sonic/blackened spear & Wrathfire/valano'sFollow

Hey,

I've run SL really much for the Sonic Spear but it never dropped. So when I hitted revered with Thrallmar I bought the blackened spear.

Now I was doing SL heroic for the daily, and yea, sonic spear dropped. I never actually thought about the blackened being better then Sonic, and I pressed need a bit to greedy =/. I really cant decide which is better.

I got, unbuffed, 373agility, 449 stamina and 1200attack power. (yea, Im not a full epic imba hunter I know ^^).

Also, the grandmaster dropped the Wrathfire gun. Neither I can decide with those. I lose 2DPS, get 8AP. But it also uses much more bullets. At the other side, because of the speed, its better for interrupting (I pve and pvp).

Can you guys help me decide please =/? My friends dont know it either.

Sonic Spear hands down. You're giving up a big chunk of AP, true, but you're getting some if it back with the agility and stamina is always a nice boost. The hit rating increase is also key. Being hit capped without going SV is a bit of a challenge, so you'll need all the hit you can get.

As for the weapon, that's a closer call and it comes down to the weapon speed. And that comes down to your spec. BM hunters like a faster weapon, so Wrathfire might be the way to go. MM and SV hunters like em a bit slower so Valano's is the one.

142 as MM or BM, 95 as SV.

Why's that? I've always thought BM Hunters preferred slower weapons due to Serpent's Swiftness.

SV and MM cant get to that point so they want a slower weapon (2.9/3.0) to form a proper 1.5:1 rotation.
Or a 3:2 with some passive haste and 4pc T6 :P
