So I was thinking, as an ele shaman i slowly see my dps falling behind others in raids, mages and warlocks just gain better benefits from the raid as a whole then I do, but thats kool I buff my group with crit and spell dmg and mana regen and i can really put out some crazy burst on trash.
I was thinking it would be kool if we could bring a little more to a raiding group and I thought what if i could help heal tank and melee while also doing range dps in a raid here is what I came up with:
Static Charge- your Chain Lightning and Chain Heal spells have a 15/30/45/60/75% chance to form a static charge that last for 6 seconds, for each jump it loses a 25% chance to create a static charge. The static charge heals friendly targets around it and does nature damage to enemies every 3 seconds (lets say about 300-350). There can not be more then 3 Static Charges at one time.
Sorry i know i am probably just dreaming but the ability to be even more useful to raid as far as being a suport and being able to aoe a little bit better would be fun for me.
I really hope they think of some fun spells and talents for us in expansion.

That's an incredibly OP idea you've got there, jmfmb.
The whole healing thing makes it incredibly OP, but making it just an AoE nearly gimps it.
lol probably is a bit op more so just trying to entertain myself maybe bliz would do something neat for us in the expansion lol.
btw have you read the alpha leaked info yet, it sounds ridiculous as it is, i don't think this would be to far fetched to some of the ideas blizzard came up with on there own i just hope they do something cool for us...

I'm not quite sure if any solid alpha info has popped up for Shamans yet, please correct me if I'm wrong.
According to the Wiki that is supposedly leaked alpha info, new Shaman spells and talents are available, but not a single word of it is posted anywhere.

i haven't read any shaman spells or talents but i saw the stuff for rogues, warlock, druid, warrior, and mage. stuff looks sick
