Me - Talarasiel
For reference, my guild is only 1/6 SSC and 1/4 TK (Lurker/VR) and both of those recent kills so only a couple people with the gear from those raids. My dps is ~1200 but I feel there is large room for improvement. I am hit capped for bosses - If I am not with one of the 2 ele shammies I have the scryer's Bloodgem and trinket from Netherspite which is an additional 55 hit.
I'm not sure what to do next? Do I get new trinkets (+damage ones - Quagmirrans Eye, IotSC, Battlemasters Trinket.) I have had the worst luck with my T4 shoulders having downed gruul weekly for 4 months and never seen them while I was in the raid on my warlock (drop every time I am there on my druid). Should I get belt of blasting? (Mats/Money are not a problem). I have T4 helm but am loathe to break my spellstrike set. I would lose to much hit and the proc.

definitly get the icon of the silver crest, also go for the heroic badge reward ring you can obtain from the sunwell offensive, aswell as the heroic badge reward gloves, and defintily go for the belt of blasing, it´s awesome.
Also the pvp bracers would be a nice upgrade for your.

Ok refresher. Necroing my own thread not so cool but here I go.
I got a bunch of upgrades:
Belt of blasting (awesome - dont think I will replace til in T6 content).
Vindicator's Silk Cuffs.
T4 set bonus from Shoulders (finally dropped - and people passed for me) and gloves (new enchant - changed from hit to damage)
Spellstrike head and legs still.
New Trinket IotSC (also pretty awesome).
Have run H. SP every day since my last post and still no trinket. Starting to think it is a myth created to scare children and destro locks.
So, this puts me at around 1400 spell damage raid buffed, 32% crit (no boomkin) and hit capped (with the shammy in my group - stats are obviously lower without but we have 3 so I am usually sorted.)
Now I am wondering what my dps should be like with these stats. I think my dps is relatively low and I am severely troubled by threat issues. Any ideas as to what my dps/cast rotation should be with my current 0/21/40 spec and my current gear?

enchant you bracers with spelldamage as well, you gear is pretty much kick-*** for the content you are in right now.
I can imagine that your tanks have trouble upkeeping enough aggro to keep you dpsing, so what you might want to
do is give them a good headstart and use your soulshatter wisely, but i guess you already do that.

don't go for hand wraps of flowering thought. get the epic ones from magisters terrace heroic, they're slightly better and alot easier to get.
