Your rogue should drool at the prospect of a warlock unless its a warlock/druid team.
Felhunter will be on you, test the lock out. Is he careless? Run out of LOS with the felhunter on you, see if he'll let his pet chase you around a pillar (careless, kill the pet).
I'm going to assume you don't have S3 weapons with spell penetration, but you should have the PVP rings and the cloak enchant which is 'good enough' to have a lucky crit streak behind a pillar.
If the lock is a noob (auto spell lock) open with scorch on the mutt so it locks that, then nova and shatter it.
Keep your important buffs up, even rank 1 frost armor is better then nothing. You will get 1 buff devoured every 8 seconds if it's on auto cast (my lock never keeps it on auto cast because I can devour myself out of sheeps, fears etc). Most locks take the easy route though and just auto cast it.
Honestly with a rogue on a lock I just destroy them on my mage. They can't fear because they're getting kicked + stunned and I just unload frosbolts + shatter combos on them.
With a skilled druid this team can be dangerous though, casting roots and cyclones on your rogue, keep abolish poison on the lock and healing him, letting him escape. Slowly they will probably wear you down. I really think lock/druid wins that matchup- you can't keep a druid sheeped (they shapeshift out). You could try killing the druid first (good luck with deathcoils, fears, entangling roots + cyclones). Or you could kill the pet, cs his fel dom (good luck, its 0.5 seconds) and spellsteal the buff (4k mana while hes silenced, its worth it). Now he has little protection and you'd hope for a crit string to burst him quickly.

If this is true, then why are mages so underrepresented in arena 2s?
Because rogues are pretty much our only solid partners =D
Sad but true imo. The synergy with a rogue is fantastic once you learn to take advantage of it. The downside, there is absolutely no room for error at all. Your CC chains have to be tight and perfect. You really have to be a top 1v1 mage in terms of knowing how to comfortably survive with a rogue on you. You will almost always be the focus target, it's a stressful job. You'll have to try and kill healers who keep running around pillars out of LOS of your frostbolts.
GREAT example of LOS ownage against a mage. Affix is the best PVP mage in the world imo, watch as Neilyo kites his water elemental and forces him to blow all his cooldowns (lolpillars!).
