Actually this question is directed at RPzip.

I´ve been deff for quiet sone while, and respecced today 2h/fury.

My Guildmaster asked if i was a madman for speccing 21/40 and of course i failed
to deliver totally. (this was "just" on the last two ZA bosses after doing a ZA timed run with my lock)
So i said i would come with my warrior to grab some phat lewt and i respecced from deff to off -> 21/40 probably completly wrong, but i was so sure you told me once that it was viable, i think (could be terribly wrong) i read something like that from you (RPzip) on elitistjerks.com

Help would be apreciated.

the question actually is, is this a viable specc? And if so could someone give me
the real talentbuild and castsequence together with the link from elitisjerks.com

thanks in advance.

It's... okay, but it hasn't really been viable since they nerfed Windfury proccing off special attacks (mostly Slam, in this case). People ask me about that EJ post a lot, but it was made in like June of 2007; the gameplay mechanics since then have shifted considerably, to the point where you don't get the damage boost out of Slam that you used to.

This changed a few things - most importantly,

1) Dual Wielding is much stronger, comparatively speaking, than it used to be. With the higher number of special attacks you would get, 2H Fury was outdamaging DW Fury. That doesn't happen anymore.

2) Getting strong dual wield weapons is now much easier. At the time, about the best you could get was Talon of Azshara off Morogrim Tidewalker and a Dragonstrike. Badge fists mean that you've now got much, much better options.

3) Since if you're going to be using a 2H build anyway you're doing less damage, the DPS loss from picking up Blood Frenzy vs. the RDPS gained is less severe.

It... can work, but if you're going 2H you should probably go 33/28/0. The spell rotation isn't too complex - basically Slam after every autoattack, then use MS/WW, and then Slam again right after your autoattack. Every 15 seconds you should have a 'free' global cooldown after a Slam, which you can use to refresh Battle/Demoralizing Shout, Hamstring or just Slam twice in a row depending upon what needs to be done at the time.
