So about last week, while running Mech, the Sun Eater had dropped. And the group had given it to me. Right now I have the s1 OH on, but is the Sun Eater really worth it? Or should I just DE. It seems more like a tank should use it and not a rogue item. But apparently (according to them), they've noticed a lot of rogues using it.
Am I missing something?

Sun Eater ain't so good for rogues. S1 is much much better.
But for some people it might be the best they have at a moment. (If they don't PvP, don't do raids, don't get Latro's to drop and aren't revered with SSO yet...).

maybe there are a lot of rogues wanting to be tanks after that one video came out showing him tanking some boss? :)

I have a sun-eater around town just because its diffrent, throw mongoose on it too ..pure fun weapon for a rogue

Well I guess it's moreso the PVP rogues using it just for the defense or something. Who knows. Bad rogues on the server? Definitely, but luckily there are still the fair few of us out there. (I consider myself a pretty good rogue, but I'm still learning... 70 or not)

Heh, I've kept The Bladefist around just for looks. It dropped, nobody wanted it, why not?
