Gearwise, what stat are you trying to get upped?
For me it's agility, I'm currently at 867 unbuffed and aiming for 900+ :P
Without dropping much in Ap or losing hitcap ofcourse.

Well, on Monday, I managed to hit 2k AP while maintaining 27% crit (I'm BM). So I guess I'm aiming to keep 2k+ AP and get up to 30% crit.

Since I made the switch to SV i'm trying to hit that 1k agil unbuffed. I am just under 900 atm.
I did get http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=30906 last night, which did increase my dps noticeably over the dead parrot.
Our guild is gonna start doing sunwell trash on offnights. I've had the mats for http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?source=live;witem=34373 for a while, and maybe I'll get lucky and it'll drop for me.

Haste rating. When you truly get to end-game, it (and armor ignore) increase your dps more than any other stat. I'm up to 80 passive haste, planning on picking up 25 more when I get to 100 badges, and I'm trying to get the last 5 points of LW (which is hard without a 70 skinner), and make myself the haste shoulders. I also rock the drums of battle (80 haste for 30 seconds, 2m cooldown). I've gotten my steady shot cast time down to 0.7 to 0.9 range. That is an amazing amount of dps.
SV Hunter so more and more AGI. Currently at 802 unbuffed. Which is ok for T4 content I guess. I'd like some of that new badge loot though.

Do you know how much absolute TONS of haste it would take to move the auto shot on the badge bow (what every hunter short of sunwell should be shooting for) to 1.5? I've barely even gotten below 2.0. And yes, I know you're trying to jab me with the "don't generalize" stick, but honestly if you're in a position where you're spending the thousands of gold buying hearts of darkness, spending the hundreds upon hundreds of badges to get the haste gear, then you're probably already wielding the badge bow. I'm not even sure it's POSSIBLE to get it down to a 1.5. However, you feel the need to correct me on a generalization, so grats.
Don't be an idiot Dilbrt. Once your quickshots is getting you to below 1.5 your itemization points are better spent elsewhere. Perhaps I should have spelled out the entire idea in greater detail, but I assume people have some modicum of intelligence and can figure these things out. Also That 1.5 doesn't include lag. ie: if your lag is 200 ms your speed is actually 1.7 where haste stops really being that effective. Maybe do some research before you talk out of your *** next time.

I'm basically the same as you Aethien, 900 agi without sacrificing AP, hit or int(as little leather as possible). I'd pretty much have to get every BT/hyjal drop as we make our way through.

Uhm, a 3.0 weapon and some passive haste gear but that stuff won't drop.
15+ Illidan kills for me an now Bow of the Black Betrayer;
10+ Archimonde kills for me and no Striker
Other than that:

while still having

We lost our Hunter who was going to go SV, so my gear goals are to build a SV set and give it a try. I'm only at 600 AGI even with 2k AP w/AotH and ~25% crit (in my PvP gear so I can't give an exact number). I'm still wearing the Ebon Netherscale wrist, so replacing that will bing me some AGI, and I have a couple AP gems in items I hoped to replace soon and was being lazy about regemming to AGI. But after that I'm not sure where to go for more AGI...

I still need to pick up my damn hourglass as well. It has eluded me for 6 runs of BM.
I am aiming for a real life situation that will allow me to return to steady WoW playing. I am seriously missing managing and caring for all the Hunters under my command in the guild... My minions are running around without leadership! At least I've followed the guildforum and heard the stories about their deeds.
I've trained them well, apparently. The guildleader sent me a mail asking if I couldn't temper them a little bit, because apparently they have the rest of the raidgroup quaking under the threat of "woops, I MD'd the wrong target" and other such tools of terror.
On a more practical note, when I can finally get back I will be the worst equipped Hunter in the raidgroup. Ergh. Watching the bosses fall like dominoes while you are away is disheartening...
