Currently, I'm using the S3 axe with +35 agi on it. If I can ever get time to run Heroic MgT a million times, I'm trying to get 2x breeching comet- or at least a Breeching comet and
Netherbane, but dual wielding Breeching comet would be hawt.
I really like having the 2h axe for grinding and PvP for big raptor strikes, and never-miss wing clips. But for raiding, dual wielding the right weapons is so much better because of the mana oil. Hell, even the stats of having 2 breeching comets is arguably better than the S3 axe- according to cheeky, it's slightly better unbuffed, and a lot better when I'm buffed.

hmm...yeah i was leaning towards this opinion too..if one of my swords miss, i end up with a weak "half-hit" on the mob only..
On the other hand, it the 2h weapon misses, you get end up dealing no damage at all...
This is what hit rating is for! Think about the types of mobs that you actually have to use melee attacks on: Grinding, and PvP. To never miss a level 70 with a 2h axe, all you need is 80 hit, which is more than easy to get- and even if you only have 80 hit, you'll miss level 71 mobs .5% of the time, and level 72 mobs 1% of the time.
But with dual wielding, you need a TON of hit to never miss. In fact, with 80 hit and dual wields, you still have a 19% chance of missing a level 70 mob- which is pretty significant- especially when you're trying to get a wing clip off in PvP.
