Ok so i have a 65 priest and god is it boreingso im just gonna use her to make me money and stuff like that.... so i am thinking of makeing either a balance durid or and ele shammy.... i wanna be ableto raid and be usefull in the raid and be able to do a lil pvp
any advice would be nice

I would lean towards Ele Shaman. My Ele Shaman is very rarely beat on DPS by anyone other than a Warlock and provides some pretty slick buffs.
I think Moonkin are fairly solid too, but I've never personally seen them do high personal DPS. Still, I love havin' em around for my Ele Shaman. (:

I would go Ele shammy. While both are really versatile classes and in general I would say druid over shaman, since it is between Boomkin and Ele Shammy I go with Shammy.
5% crit
vs
3% crit and hit, 101 damage and mana spring totem... not to hard a choice who I'd rather have in my group as a lock or mage or SPriest.
Also an Ele shammy will have higher personal dps.
But remember - shamans can't change form (ghost wolf lol) and they cant tank. Druid versatility in the long run is amazing. You need never re-roll another class. wanna tank, melee dps, ranged dps or heal? don't roll a rogue - just respec!

You forgot bloodlust, Squirrel. If all else was equal (which it's not) then BL/Heroism alone tips the scales heavily in favor of the shaman.

I have a 70 oomkin, an im in the process of lvling an ele shammy. Druids are fun, but I would like to try a differnt type of dps- ele shams also have reincarnate(altho brez is good) and astrall recall which is incredibly useful.

elemental shammy, i have a 69 ele shammy and a 50 balance druid, i love both of them, i love that i can shad meld and open up a can of whoop *** on some one.. but, all things considered, the lightning bolts hits almost as hard as starfire, and naturally has the 20% chance to give u a free instant lightning bolt with it, plus its half the casting time, so, that plus earth/frost shock hit harder than moonfire, and can interrupt casts/slow the enemy down, PLUS elemental mastery, and chain lightning.. really it all depends, if u get a nice crit with star fire follow it up with the half cast wrath, maybe another then moonfire and of course theyre swalloing bugs and getting thorned u can dish out nice dps... but yeah elemental shaman for dps definitly
i also have ghost wolf speccd out to an instant cast, ghost wolf + earthbind saves your life on more occasions than travel form + natures grasp
