I got exalted with the Shattered Sun woohoo! Promptly bought that thing. Yay!

Except.. I swear, that thing truly hates me. First of all, it procs on ticks from heals over time. Neat! I thought. Until I realized that whenever it procs, my character will happily get up and raise arms... even while eating or drinking. Of course, it refuses to proc in battle, ever. It insists on activating only after the battle is over, while the rest of the HoTs are ticking, or preferably BEFORE we even start fighting, after I topped off the health of people and sat to eat something. Something expensive, if possible.

So, anyone else has a cursed item that plots against their lives and/or money flow?

Hmm, well.

The SSC tanking staff drops about two times per run when I'm not in the raid, and never drops when I do join the raids.

I have mages that put spell dmg on it tease me with it ... *sigh*

Though I guess that doesn't answer the question "So, anyone else has a cursed item that plots against their lives and/or money flow?" because I don't actually have it ..

Whenever I leave a Battleground, Alliance wins it.

Wait a minute...

hahaha! Didn't think you'd make an "eating" set did you? I wonder if outfitter has a reaction set for eating/drinking like it does for shifting...

Are you sure it procs off hots, and not just the bloom effect of lifebloom? Also it will only proc if you actually heal someone. It wont proc if you just spam heal a target on full health.

On cursed items. When I was running kara back in the days every resto druid, hunter and mage had terestrian stranglestaff before i finally got it :P

It sure does, it is called the "dining" set from memory. I used to switch to high regen gear when drinking & eating, but it gets a bit old when you go into combat while in this gear and get stuck in it.

One that is useful though is an innervate set. You can set it so that any time you get the "innervate" buff (from yourself or another druid) it switches your weapon to a high regen weapon (lots of Spi) to get the maximum out of your innervate. This is a useful one for other healers (esp. priests) to set up if they are using outfitter.

ooo yeah! the dining one makes me think of a RP or around-town set... just never thought of a drinking on (though the innervate regen "set" is well-known).

I had a town set running. Every time I entered a city it put me in my 8/8 Feralheart set. Unfortunately, bagspace has prevented this now until I start getting more ruthless and throwing stuff out.

Excellent idea! I didn't think of using Outfitter to rid me of that problem. Same with Innervate, that's great. As soon as I replace my current weapon, I'll enchant it with maximum spirit and keep it around just for that. I already have this thing which I absolutely love for innervate. Usually gives me more mana regen than I can actually use. ;)

As for the pendant proccing of HoTs, I can't say I tested it extensively, but I have seen it proc very often a second or two after I cast something, so before the final bloom.
