Frosty the Snowman!Follow

Was a very happy soul who loved....well frost. I've sat in goldshire for hours watching and talking to frost mages. Its just so amazing. Just wanna hear from all you frost mages out there who leveled as frost. Cause well another one is joining the ranks.

Let me know how you leveled and your toughest fights to date. And I don't wanna hear hogger lol. I got carried away with that thread. Just love frost. I'm not gonna level fire cause people tell me its easier to level as. Frost seems fun and i'm gonna do it. Still gonna use fire spells tell my frost spells become more damaging. So come on all you frosty's let me hear it. ^^

I leveled 10-60 as frost. It actually doesn't really start to get good til you have shatter. But then it's the much easier choice for leveling. Still gonna be leveling 70-80 as fire, though.

The thing I loved about leveling as frost was the fact that if a mob was atleast orange to you and could be frozen, you could kill it. For example, I solo'd the giants in STV when they were 2 levels above me. Took way less time then trying to find a group when you needed to kill a elite for quests. Learn to kite well and your golden.

But like Poldaran said, it can be slow going untill you get shatter.

Shatter defeinitely took frost to a new level.

However, I thought it really got fun with Ice Barrier. I remember getting that, and pretending to be a warrior. You can take on mobs in close quarters since you essentially have a bubble (and it's not one that depletes your mana like that pesky Mana Shield). Not recommended to do this against elites...obviously.

Then, the Elemental....oh baby! Good fun :)

Toughest fights - any time my spell gets resisted. That is always an "O Crap" moment. Especially if Frost Nova gets resisted (even worse before you get Cold Snap).
