I'm just wondering what your priority is for your badges of justice. I currently tank or heal Kara or ZA, depending on guild need, so I'm working on two sets.

So what are the items you're drooling over because there simply isn't any better to be found? Is it the Ring of the Stalwart Protector? Or perhaps the Band of the Swift Paw? Maybe the Gavel of Naaru Blessings?

I guess I'm asking for advice so I can get the biggest bang for my badge buck. Any help is appreciated.

I think part of it matters on which of your sets needs the most help? Which do you use more often?

I Tank or DPS so my priorities are much diffrent from yours. Healing is my bottom rung. Badge wise the very first thing I got was for tanking; Idol of Terror.

First purchase was Slikks cloak and idol of terror, then I saved all my badges for the SSO badge vendor Feral pants.

Then I snagged the necklace of the Juggernaut ( just to have it i guess), then blew some on a Primal vortex to make Belt of Natural power.

Currently saving up for the SSO badge vendor Feral chest peice

Actually thought about making a thread like this myself. My Druid has finally set foot in heroics with great success. I'm up to 10 badges so far (yeah, yeah, I'm also doing dailies for the epic flight form) and was wondering if I should put the first 20 into the Idol of Terror or something else.

Link in my signature should show me in my tanking gear.

And speaking of idols, if I get the Idol of Terror, should I use it for both tanking and DPS? I currently use Idol of Feral Shadows for DPS.

definetely use the idol of terror maz. its up almost constantly, and its 65 extra AP (78 with HotW), which helps on all attacks vs on just one. plus itll be your new tanking idol as well; gogo more bag space.

edit: maths

I'd stick with Idol of Feral Shadows over Idol of Terror for DPS. Not that 65 Agi is bad, but you're only using Mangle when the debuff wears off in Cat form; in bear form you're using Mangle every chance you get. The up-time for the proc is relatively low, so something like Idol of Feral Shadows or Everbloom Idol would give you more overall damage.

Edit: If you use Toskks's Cat DPS gear generator, Idol of Terror is 4th of 5 ranked DPS idols, behind Everbloom (1st), Feral Shadows (2nd), and White Stag (3rd). Actually, Everbloom and Feral shadows can switch positions based on the mob's armor, your ignore armor value, and debuffs like FF, Sunder Armor, and CoR.

It's an 8 second buff.
It has an 85% chance to proc.
Mangle is on 6 second cooldown for bear.

Considering that even if Mangle doesn't hit, 2 of the seconds on CD will still have the buff(8s buff), the uptime is actually quite high.

IoT is one of my options. Along with the healing bracers. I know I should make a choice and go with tanking or healing, but I like doing both and my guild needs both, so I'm content with trying to keep up dual sets.

Are there other slots you've been unable to upgrade except through badges? I mentioned the Gavel of Naaru Blessings, which is very nice, but I kill Maiden every week and one of these times I'll win the roll for her mace. So I won't spend 150 badges on that.

Same with tanking armor - I've got the full Heavy Clefthoof set and the badge equivalent don't seem to be that much of an upgrade for the price.

In cat, you're only using Mangle 1/ DPS cycle, generally around 15 sec to get back to 4/5 CP and get enough energy (70ish) to Rip + Mangle. Out of 20 mangles, 17 will proc (85%). So out of 300 sec, you'll have ~170 sec of +65 Agi. About 57% up time, or the equivalent of a flat +37 Agi. Up-time for bears will obviusly be higher since bears use Mangle 2.5x as often, but Maz was asking about DPS.
