lvl 69 GrindingFollow

#1 May 14 2008 at 10:48 AM Rating: Decent
Hello everyone. My lock is currently lvl 69 and im trying to grind honor points before hitting lvl 70, so that when I do ding, ill have my PVP gear ready. Currenly I am sl/sl build but it just doesnt seem to cut it. Ive got 10,000 Health, +520 spell dmg and a lol %9.80 critical hit rating. Can you guys recommend some builds to help me kill the alliance a bit quicker? sl/sl is nice, but it just takes too long to drop whoever im fighting (usually backup comes and pwns me). Or it could be my strat which is go inside, instant dot along with siphon life as many players as I can, and then chain drain life and death coil (Shadowbolt if I go into nightfall mode).
Any comments or flame is welcome.

U prolly need more dmg to make it really useful but ive seen destruction locks tear up the place in pvp....Like one and two shotting other players with 12k crits .....U prolly dont have as much survivability as other trees but it seems to hit hard....Or u could go deep aff for UA or get ur felguard just some other build ideas that might help

Unstable Affliction may be mediocre for serious Arena PvP but it's incredible in a Battleground, where dispels are unlikely and there's no end of targets to kill.

Something like this would be relatively survivable and yet very capable of dealing great damage. Just tag along with a rush and cast UA => Siphon Life => Corruption everything in sight (Immolate and CoA are also good if you run out of targets) and then fire off Seeds of Corruption into the fray. Toss Shadow Bolts whenever Nightfall procs and Drain Life when you get low.

One-on-one it's not too powerful, but the power of five DoTs isn't to be underestimated and your pet (Imp for STA and Dark Pact or Felhunter for Paranoia and Spell Lock) will help you deal out good damage. Try your best to Curse of Exhaustion kite Rogues and remember your Drains can help you finish him off if he gets to melee range.
