I have been clearing Kara in my sleep for the last few weeks. The guild that I am in right now is not really trying to progress into 25-mans. So the question I have for the folks here is if I go looking for another guild will my gear hold up for 25-man tanking or should I just keep clearing Kara with my current guild for more badges and better badge gear.

Badge gear is not a requirement, but it is for filling in any gaps and side grades (mostly). If you have the best of Tier 4 raiding, which it looks like for the most part you do, then you'll be fine going into Tier 5 even if you didn't have any Badge gear. Raid progression is not dependent on farming Badges, though it can help.
