Level up. You've got several blues, which are nice but not necessary while leveling. unless you're looking to stop at 49th for PvP you just need to grind EXP. You might be able to start running the prerequisite quests for the Hunter's level 50 class quest. Check it out to see, and start if you can. Take the Devilsaur Tooth, both of the other options will be quickly replaced but the Tooth is quite unique.
I wouldn't spend too much time on getting gear, you're gonna replace it soon anyways. I wouldn't start worrying about gear until Outland, since everything you will have pre-Outland is gonna be replaced anyway. I did the same with my priest and it worked fine, I walked around in lvl 30 greens at lvl 55, but never had any problem solo-ing anything.

While you're still leveling, the best thing to do is just read sticky threads.
As far as improving your gear, if you really wish to look for new gear, use the arrow next to what you currently have in the armory page. it should tell you what is an improvement and where it can be located.
