I'm currently a balance built druid and I plan on going to some sort of variation of the arena build 8/11/42 Here. I was wondering though if Improved Tranquility is worth it at all or should I pull out of tree form and one in Emp Rejuv for full IT?

All the advice I could get on this build would be nice.

If you want to do arena or a considerable amount of BGs, then what you have is just right. There is no need to worry about threat in PvP.

But it's definitely nice to have the Tranquility panic button in instances. It's some massive healing, and it will most likely kill you without the threat reduction.

If you have about 1500-1600 bonus healing, your Tranquility will heal for about 8K... times 5. 20K threat without reduction through Subtlety, 16K with 5/5 Subtlety. There is just no way for a tank to catch up with that.

Pick it up whenever you decide to drop Feral Charge, but leave things alone until then. It's not worth giving up Tree Form or anything else for it.

Spose that all makes sense. Thanks for the info!

I don't know, maybe I'm just lucky but I can't remember dying from that ever. Usually I'll use it during massive boss AoE and all it takes is a simple taunt if I grab aggro.

I thought it would be like FFXI White Mage's Bene suicide at first, but now I love that spell.

Edit: Thanks for the rate-down.

Yeah and all it takes for that taunt not to be so simple anymore would be if it was resisted, on cooldown, or the tank not paying any attention at all. That's in addition to the possible taunt immunity of bosses that seems to be quite common :)

All that is true, but I'd still recommend the Imp Rejuv. I also have never had aggro issues with Tranquility without the improved version. I may have just been lucky, but I do know that I throw out Rejuvs alot more often than Tranq and I get a lot more healing out of those points than I would if they were in Imp Tranq.

I may cause a wipe at some point because I tranq, pull aggro and die. But I've saved more than a few wipes by the boost to my rejuvys as well.

Didn't say anything different, and that was like 2 weeks ago:

Well now that I've had a little more practice with healing and what not and I'm still full balance and just enough into resto for Intensity, I've found that the time I'm using tranquility theres enough aggro built up from a tank that I won't pull much of any aggro. So Arena spec it may be for me.... Or full balance.

Yeah just keep it as you had it laid out initially. Dump the feral points if you ever want to truly focus on PvE and use them to fill up the Resto tree.

As for "full balance"... Intensity is a part of that :)
