If it's a rogue, then...rogue?

Perhaps you mean spec?

Assuming you want to know what class you should roll to help him...um....healer? Kind of figured that was a given...

Why would a twink rogue need support...they are a twink, they should be able to handle themselves..

The only time a twink is gona need support is when facing other twinks. That means you want to roll a class that benefits from lvl 19 twinking.

Some classes are simply better in the lvl 19 bracket for twinking. Rogue and hunter are tops, since there is so much gear readily available, and they have talents at lvl 19 that make them stand out. Some other classes don't really shine at lvl 19 because they don't get far into into their talent tree to excel in PvP. For instance, a warrior is hugely gear dependant, and even then won't stand up to a good hunter due the the snares, or a rogue's avoidance. Druids and priests are another example of classes that even when heavily twinked are going to be vunerable to the top classes.

If I was creating a character to run alongside another 19 twink, I would probably choose the exact same class. Two hunters for example, would be terror in preventing flags from crossing midfield. Two rogues would create havoc in returning flags that the opponent has gotten back to their base. Two paladins would make a fearsome team for running flags.

Would it be nice to have a healer in your pocket? Sure. But two good rogue twinks are going to blow through enemies too fast to need healing anyway.

Roll a rogue. You'll make a team that gives the little kids nightmares.

Twinks seriously...disgust me. I don't like 'em. They really, in my opinion, ruin the lower level battlegrounds. I don't see the point in having a twink, where's the fun in killing people with just one sinister strike. I understand gearing up a little for battlegrounds, but getting an insane ******* of enchantments and stuff, don't see the benefits of that.

Please don't go and justify twinking with "zomg we own noobs in grays!!11", because a lot of people in lowbie battlegrounds are NOT "noobs in grays", they are people in a combination of greens and blues. Twinking doesn't take skill whatsoever, it's really a contest of "who's willing to put most money in a level 19 character". I'm pretty sure that Blizzard did not intend for level 19 characters to run around with "high end" enchantments, oneshotting "normal" level 19 characters. The reason they have left it in the game is appeasement: there's already a load of people running around with their big bad enchantments, taking those enchantments away would greatly upset them.

I avoid the 10-19 bracket because of twinks, it's a shame, really, because even lower level PvP is quite entertaining. At least, in my battlegroup, the 20-29 is not infested with annoying little Gnomes/Undead rogues with weapons that look like lightsabers.

Umm, it's freaking awesome? How isn't it fun? It's fairly similar to putting a 4k crit on a clothie, right?

Again, running around with fiery on the assassins blade sounds like a blast. Your post has inspired me to roll another rogue and twink the **** out of it!

I'd actually lean more towards a twinked hunter or a twinked priest to compliment the rogue. Sure, priests are a bit vulnerable, but there's nothing more spectacular that a healer can do at that level than PW:S.

Having spent a lot of time in the 10-19s and 20-29s as a twinked paladin, I can tell you that at 10-19, while rogues are the strongest 1v1, well played Hunters and Priests can literally change the flow of the game.

I love getting downrated for posting an opinion on an opinion-based thread...

What kind of gear is available for twink hunters (along the lines of the SFK blade for rogues)?

Downrating somebody is also personal opinion, don't let it bother you.

I was gonna say I hate twinking, but I thought not replying was wiser.

I don't like twinking, so no matter how much I know about it, I just didn't feel the need to contribute to it.

BTW, I have also been downrated for stuff I did not know why, but usually I get rated back up by people noticing my drop in karma for them.

Hell ***** it, I'll throw an opinion, twink out a paladin, they are really nice at that level and can heal.

I wouldn't count on them as healers at 19. They lack a heal that takes less than 2.5 seconds to cast at that point and are hard to heal with. However, as far as flag runners, at that level, I feel that they have no equal.

For armor, it's pretty much a carbon copy of what a rogue would use... A combination of defias and fang items.

For weapons, venomstrike is the top bow, but the WSG bow is solid too, or timmy's peashooter if you prefer guns. As for melee, the most common is the crescent staff with +25 AGI, since the hunter can't DW at lvl 19.

As far as opinions on twinking go, I certainly see both sides of the coin. I agree it ruins BGs for low level non-twinks. But in a way how is that different from a lvl 70 raid that requires the top geat to have a chance? Or level 70 BGs where someone decked out in S4 gear would annihilate a new 70 in average blues?
