I just finished taking my feral druid to 70, and half my time was spent worrying about my Cenarion Rep for earthwarden (only 20 SV runs to go -- kill me now). My shaman, who is gonna hop back and forth from enhance to resto and probably end-game as resto (don't they all?), is now 60 and has to decide whether to throw in his lot w scryer or aldor. I checked the rewards on wowwiki and there seems virtually no difference for the class. But are there any other groups (besides Lower City for prayer book if I heal) that an enhance or resto shaman needs to cozy up to in OL, ala the Druid's obsessive search for Cenarion Rep?

Lower City is the biggest one. They've got an epic spell damage mace for Elementals (if you ever go down that path), and the much toted trinkets for Restos. You really should also take the time to grind up to exhalted with the Sha'tar, they have an epic healing mace for Restos.

I haven't actually canvassed the rep vendors with Enhancement gear in mind, so someone else will have to help you there until/unless I get the chance.

One thing I will say is that, in general, Enhancement can get along better with a lot more honor gear than Elementals/Restos can. The stamina-over-intellect-and-MP5 focus of the gear doesn't hurt them even remotely as much as it does the casters, the only thing you really need to watch for is +hit. The S1 one-handers in particular are impeccable. If you don't mind the honor grind, you might want to consider focusing your efforts here.

Thanks. I dig the honor grind, so I'll plan on BGing for my violent, enhancing side and turning in feathers for my nurturing, resto one.

Consortium has a decent neck at exalted for enh and Sha'tar has a decent ring for enh at exalted. Although, the pvp ones are likely better choices.

At revered HH/Thrallmar has a healing head enchant, Cenarion has an AP and hit head enchant, and Lower City has a STR+INT head enchant.

Edit: Oops. Those are head enchants, not shoulder.

Those are head enchants.

For Cenarion Expedition: Before you do ANY CC quests ride over to Cenarion Refuge with a bunch of the Unidentified Plant Parts (you need somewhere over 300 - buy off the AH, they are usually pretty cheap) - do the turn ins. You should get 3-5 Uncatalogued Species, hold these until you've hit honored then turn them in. You should get 1,500-2,000 points into honored this way. Then as you quest you will easily hit revered (I was revered by 66 on 2 toons this way).

There is a decent cloth healing helm from CE that will tide you over until a more Shammy specific healing helm comes your way.

Cheers!

Ya the enchants is what makes these vendors so awesome, as well as some starter epics and some crafting patterns for your professions.

If you have enchanting as one of your professions (as I do on my resto shammy), then Sha'tar will be your main focus. They have three amazing healing enchanting recipes. And, of course, as already mentioned their mace is a great starter epic with +299 healing on it.

Lower City and Sha'tar it is. My 70 is shipping all his excess Arakkoa feathers as we speak. Thanks.

If you haven't chosen Scryer/Aldor yet, I'd say go with Scryer. The shoulder enchant that gives +13 crit is better than the Aldor equivalent. That is if you are spending much time as enhancment.

Sha'tar also has the Spell Damage+Spell Hit Rating chant.

It depends on how much AP you raid with, I find the Aldor enchant to be much more benficial.
