Expertise and huntersFollow

#1 May 08 2008 at 9:07 AM Rating: Good
I am only just now beginning to play a hunter after retiring for some time prior to 2.3. I looked through the stickies and don't find expertise rating addressed anywhere for hunters and I am wondering if it has any bearing on our ranged damage.

As I understand it shouldn't (I see misses but not dodge/parries on ranged) but was looking for more imput.

From what I've understood, expertise isn't an issue for the hunter class. +hit tends to be more what is focused on, to help avoid those misses. As much as seeing someone manage to parry your arrow out of the air, I've never seen anything like it

At least not in WoW :)

According to WoW Wiki, expertise is melee only.

I'd wondered about this too. So I need to work on expertise with my rogue. Since he's human, I need to switch him from fists to swords or maces for their +5 to expertise. oi
