Hello all,

A friend recommended me to a guild currently raiding ssc. Upon telling the guild master my stats in bear form (unbuffed), he laughed at me and told me I'm undergeared.

I've checked out Emmerald's list quite a bit and my gear is near the top of the lists. I'm not afraid to say it - I'm a skilled tank, and feel like my gear is satisfactory. Am I missing something or did that GM not know what he's talking about?

Armory:

Stats in bear form (unbuffed):
29.1k armor
41% dodge
14.6k hp

HP may be a lil low, but I'm working on replacing some of my agi/dps gems and enchants with stamina... and will be picking up the badge ring soon. Any comments/suggestions greatly appreciated :)

I think that you seem pretty well geared. I would not go any higher on dodge, and possibly a bit lower to help with rage generation. Perhaps trade some dodge rating or agility for stamina. After 39-40% dodge, it becomes better to get stamina over dodge rating and AGI, or at least I think. Somebody will hopefully come by to verify this. :)

Yeah i would say pretty much the same thing you may try to boost a little bit your stamina. If you dont want to lost to many agi try to switch some pure agi gem for +agi/+stam gem it will keep your dodge high and increase your health.

For SSC, I would say the guild master doesn't know what he's talking about!

The only thing the HP thing means to me is that it might be something of a priority for you to use stam consumeables without question, and that you're put into a group with a lock.

You're fine to be in SSC/TK... seriously...

The only thing I would suggest is to put together a high stamina set to try and hit 20k health on some trash fights. There are a few pulls in TK where the mob does a very high damage hit. A warrior can spell reflect it, but we rely on being able to eat the hit. I've been hit for up to 17k by this attack, so it is important to have the stam and make sure the healers keep you topped up for it.

Other than that, your gear is excellent with a bit more stamn is easily capable of getting you to the start of BT/Hyjal.
