@1.93 - 1:1 viable or still 3:2?Follow

ok so I finally got my badge axe (to go with my badge xbow) and with my haste bracers my speed is down to 1.93. Is this low enough to go back to a 1:1 or do I need to stick to a 3:2

use the 3:2, it'll trasnform into more of a 5:4 or even 6:5 rotation.

what is the speed barrier to go from 1:1 to 3:2? Greater than what speed and less than what for both?

cheeky's spreadsheet will help you with that, it can model both cycles including lag and tell you which is better for you. For me they are pretty much equal (with axe, bow and shoulder's of lightning reflexes) and so I use the 1:1 to save mana. Dilbrt, at your speed you will notice very little difference between the two rotations.

The spreadsheet showed me that I should be using a 1:1 interweaving arcane shot for my normal dps, and then 0 special shots while I have rapid fire up. I've heard that my 3:2 macro actually transforms INTO a 1:1 as my weapon gets faster, can anyone confirm this? Or do I need to go back to my old 1:1 macro?

What I use now:

#showtooltip Steady Shot
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0 <<<< I hated hearing the clicking sound
/cast !Auto Shot
/castrandom [target=pettarget,exists] Kill command
/cast Steady Shot
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1

My old 1:1

#showtooltip Steady Shot
/castsequence reset=2 Steady Shot, !Auto Shot
/cast [exists,target=pettarget] Kill Command
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()

I'm THINKING that I should revert back to my old macro just so that it forces a 1:1

3:2 will become a 1:1 if you have enough haste. HOWEVER there is a window when it will continue to do a 3:2 rotation, but will be lower dps then the 1:1. If your latency is good use the 1:1 macro, otherwise time it yourself.

Note: you can use the 3:2 macro to time it yourself, and then just spam it for the best performance when under additional haste.
