+healing for heroicsFollow

I have been asked a couple of times to heal heroics, but have declined not sure if I was worthy or not. I have puged sp wiht no wipe and bot with only 1 wipe, but was looking for some guildlines for heroics. Ty I think i am at about 1000 bonus healing by the way.
Part 2 Any dungeons that should be avoided or any that are must do's? thanks again.

from a T5.5-geared tank's perspective, i would definitely be comfortable taking a 1000+ healing bonus healer (regardless of class) into an easy heroic like SP or mech if i had 2 forms of cc and good dps (good ie mob dies in ~5 seconds). i would be ok with just 1 form of cc (including sap) if i still had good dps. however, i wouldn't be comfortable not having any cc even if dps was good, simply because some mobs/mob packs just do way too much burst damage for a 1000+ healer to heal through (4 pack bogstrok pulls in heroic sp, coilfang defenders)

the less cc you have, the better geared the tank and dps have to be. i actually put rogues up there with mages, as rogues can stun my primary target at 30% to burn the mob down while i move to the next one. additionally, i can also concussion blow a mob at around 60% depending on how good dps is and then have the rogue stun again at 30%.

I see your collecting S1 pvp gear which is fine for heroics and kara.

grab the belt and boots when you can, and try to hit exhaulted with Shatar for the epic mace. and revered with lower city gets you a decent trinket (70 healing each and you can wear 2 of them)

Then you can start collecting badges and doing heroics and kara like a mad man.

Start with running Heroic SP, Mech, Ramps, SV, and UB are all pretty easy, if you get a good tank you can try bot and sh and some of the other tougher heroics.

Once you manage 1500 healing it gets a lot easier.

I recently got my self an 70 resto shaman and collected some healing gear on the way putting me on 1100 unbuffed healing and I manage to heal HC Slab and MGT without a problem...

But it all depends on how good you are and how good the rest of your party is, I always make sure to bring a Spriest and Mage along that helps a lot
