Guys
This is not totally hunter relative, but knowing how many experienced raiders read this forum i thought i would ask advice from fellow hunters.
So we were in ZA last night trying to kill Hallazzi for the first time.
We had 2 warriors tanking and a drood cat dpsing. The problem was the healers struggled to keep the tanks up when the boss did Sabre lash, (i think thats what it was called)Even with the warriors stood on top of each other to divide the damage, our healers struggled. We wondered if our drood went bearform and stood on top of the warriors would this divide the damage by 3? Bosskillers is unclear as are other guides i have read. Once again sorry this probably isnt posted on the ideal forum but any help would be appreciated.

I'm not totally sure, but I believe the attack is only split on up to two targets.
But even if it would work, I would recommend against that strategy. With three tanks you will lack dps for that fight.
That special attack does hit a warrior tank for ~6-8k I believe (it hits my feral druid for ~5.5-6.5k).
Healing can be a problem if the tank is undergeared for that instance. But it could be healing too.
Let the tank with the best gear be maintank for that fight while the other tank stays on top of him playing the soaker.
The MT will need quite some healing as the boss hits rather hard with all of his attacks.
The soaker however will not need that much healing. Perhaps your problem are the healing assignments. We usually assign one or two healers to the MT and the other healer is split between the MT and the soaker.
Generally the soaker has lower healing priority as the MT (since he can survive 2-3 sabre lashes without healing if the MT takes big damage spikes).
We do that boss with two healer on our timed runs (but those healers are T6 geared; healing is never a problem at this fight).
With alt groups we usually have 3 healers with us (at T4 or T5 gear level).

healing is quite intensive on this fight if you aren't overgeared for it. the main tank takes a lot of damage from regular melee, saber lashes and melee during frenzies which the hunter(s) should tranq shot halazzi out of. when i tank halazzi, i put on my avoidance set since he hits fairly fast. i've seen myself avoid 3 or more attacks in a row before i get hit by something big.

the raid can also take a lot of damage from flame shock and the chain lightning totem, so the flame shock needs to be dispelled asap and the chain lightning totems have to die as soon as they pop. your healers should also be spread out so that the entire raid can be dispelled out of flame shock. your feral druid should stay in cat, help dps totems and the boss down and maybe help snatch the lynx spirit if the OT lets it get away, maybe even drop out into caster form to quickly pop HoTs and innervates on people as needed.
