Dont know if this is known or addressed..

Was in AB the other day with my hunter, couldn't help but notice that my pet would freely walk past the gate whenever I got close, so I started thinking "What if Eyes of the Beast would work...."

First couple of tries I couldnt pull it off because my pet wasn't in "line of sight" but eventually I got him half in/out of the gate and casted eyes of the beast....bam, he (I) spawned on the other side of the gate, free to roam Arathi Basin.

With Dash-3 up whenever possible I made it within 40 yds of the Alliance gate before EotB ran out, but it was fun nonetheless.

Before you ask, yes I tried to cap a flag to no avail, I guess that requires opposable thumbs.......Gorilla pet maybe?! :)

I've always wished eyes of the beast would last long enough for me to go taunt the other side, but to no avail :(. It works in EoTs as well (I'd assume WSG and AV but I have not tried), And you can get into old iron forge.

This was one of the ways players used to exploit AB and start capping flags before the game even started. Hunter gets his pet outside the gate, uses EotB to move far enough away to be completely outside. Warrior uses Intervene and *bam* he's outside too.

I'm pretty sure they patched this in 2.4, along with the rooftop method used by Rogues to Sprint off and jump over the gate.

Myself and a couple friends that used to wall-jump got up to the second level in the WSG flag room then ran out. Getting to the Alliance base before the gates even opened was full of win.

Then there were the days of bugged ShS, where if you had a focus target and used a focus-ShS macro to ShS to your focus with a target in range to ShS across WSG.

Paladins can get next to the gate, DI someone, and rez on the other side of the gate. Works in AB and AV for sure, can't say about the other BGs.

Hmmm, could a lock do something similar with a Lifetap/Hellfire suicide into a rez?
