Druid Arena PartnerFollow

#1 May 05 2008 at 7:29 AM Rating: Decent
I am currenlty a Feral Druid level 70 who has been running 2v2 arena with a Holy paladin, it worked quite well, not amazing though, but sadly she left the realm.

Now I am wondering on two things really, 1 what sort of partner should I be looking for for 2v2, and 2 what spec is best for me to try as a 2v2 druid, I have played PvP Feral and Resto in the past and am happy playing either.

Any and all advice is welcome

Most high rated druids are resto. The most common build is the 8/11/42 build although dreamstate (restokin), 34/0/27 is becoming increasing popular. However, this isnt to say that you cant get mookins and ferals past 2000, because you can - its just IMO its quite a bit harder.

As for a partner, you will want a high dps class. As resto you will have insane healing and good CC. I play with an MS warrior and its a good combo, but rogues, hunters and warlocks all seem to work well too.

As a general tip, play line of sight tricks. A druid is great at kiting so use this to your advanatge. An immobile resto druid is usually a dead resto druid.

Hope this helps.

Definitely hook up with a geared up MS warrior if you can since Resto Druid/Warrior combo is currently the most dominating 2's combo. Druid/hunter works just as well though, but requires the hunter to be more co-ordinated.
