Making a moonkinFollow

I am currently sitting at a lvl 35(almost 36) balance druid and need some advice on getting gear. Currently i do have a few pieces picked out and waiting. They include...

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=13115;source=live

as well as a few other pieces such as the defilars boots, warsong cloth bracers and some other insignifigant items that i found while helping a friend level. I guess i am really in need of some information, such as where can i find leather gear with stamina without obvious feral stats or that do not require me to sit in an instance all day until it drops. i have a cast sequence started so that doesn't concern me that much since mobs drop relativly quickly and without much loss to my mana. Just hoping someone can help me with this. Thanks

I leveled as mostly feral with the occasional respec to resto for certain instance ranges for practice, but I also have an elemental shaman and the mechanics are quite the same.

Until you reach higher levels (50+), you are basically going to be stacking Stamina and Intellect, with any MP5 or bonus damage you can find thrown in.

The pieces you will tend to stack the most of are the "of the eagle" gear which will have strictly +stam and +int.

Other than that you want to look for the gear that has the best stats for your play style, whether it's the run in and melee after a few spells or the root and cast.

Caster wise it's best to go with the best gear stats wise(regarless of if it is cloth or leather), since you shouldn't be getting hit much and once you get Moonkin form you'll have the bonus to armor.

If you like to melee a little more, especially after moonkin form then you will want to try and get mostly leather for the marginal addition to armor.

Most gear with +healing on also has a small amount of +damage as well and there seems to me more of that at the slightly lower levels until you really hit the OL. As long as these items have decent +stam and +int then you should pick them up. But it's really not going to add up to much and you would be better off with the larger hp and mana pool than the bonus damage until you get into OL and start getting those beginning questing upgrades. Most lower level +damage gear lacks in those key stat areas.

Also once you get up into that range you will find that Int has the added bonus of extra MP5 from Dreamstate and if you go into the resto tree you will also benefit from spirit from the Intensity talent.
