My enhancement shammy is 60. Like most middle-aged shammies, he is thinking about respeccing resto, probably at 62-63, trying it out, maybe hopping back and forth between resto and enhance. Imagine at 70 he'll mostly be resto since thats the most welcome end-game spec. I like healing but I like mind-boggling wf crits too.
Here's my question: I figured I'd mainly bank healing gear for the switch. Yet I am close to doing the quest where I can get this uber dps trinket http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=28041;source=live or the healing trinket http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=28040;source=live.
So which do I get? Are there better healing trinkets out there? Because I've yet to see an easily-attainable, better dps one....

take the dps one, and when you're in nagrand pick up the http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=25634 down the road.
edit: just checked, there's one that drops off the blood furnace as well if you're intent on having some healing trinkets in your bank.

Agreed. I collected about a half dozen quest reward caster trinkets on my Healadin's path to level 70. That spell trinket is good...but not tough to replace.
I agree with taking the DPS one, but for a completely different reason.
Unless you're a holy pally, Vengeance of the Illidari absolutely sucks as a healing trinket. For the most part crit heals are over heals. If you break down the 220 healing use over the 3 minute cooldown it comes down to less than +20 heals at all times.
It's hard to find good enhance trinkets later on and Bladefists's could still be used even at level 70.
