Prot spec help for ZA on upFollow

Here's my armory. Gyfford Armory

I've used it for like 7 months now, but a few months back I got into the rythm of using H. Strike and watching my threat just blow up (1900++ TPS). However, of course it drains my rage fast. I'm thinking about removing 1 point from Imp D. Stance, and both points from Imp Taunt. I'm a bit weary of letting go of Imp Taunt (for Bearboss and other trash mobs in SSC/TK/etc that are tauntable, if the need ever should arise)

Thanks for the assistance.

Improved defensive stance is just a waste of 3 good talent points. 6% less damage from spells doesn't really add up very fast.

Imp. HS is much better for ya'

Imp Heroic is very nice, unless you run heroic magister's terrace everyday :O. Then the 6% reduced damage will make a differece there.

Try putting max arcane resist (my set is +516 lol) on the Second boss, and watch how easybutton it is :P

Cool, thx for the verification. I'm going to respec minus the Imp D.Stance... I like the Taunt, just in case Bearboss resist or over eager DPS on trash mobs. We'll see how that goes.

If magic damage isn't an issue, then don't bother speccing for imp defensive stance.

But I generally spec either 11/7/43, 8/10/43, or a more 5-man (Heroic); 8/7/46

Sorry to sidetrack, but isn't 365 the maximum effective resistance?
(been reading Ciderhelm in preparation for a return to tanking and that caught my eye).
Cheers!

Think it's like 375 or something, but i just have gear collected from playing, and it's fun to see how high you can go un-buffed ^^. I usually only wear 300 or so when i actually need it, because i prefer more stamina and i get the extra from a elixir/motw.

365 for PvE

Quote:
Resistance caps
Resistance caps at 75% magical damage reduced. From the equations above, it follows that the most resistance that is effective is 5 * level of the attacker. For PvE raid situations, bosses in end-game raids are effectively 3 levels higher than you, or level 73. This makes the effective resistance cap in end-game raids 365. For PvP situations, the resistance cap depends on the level of the opponents you will face. For level 70 opponents, this cap is 350.
