Never played a rougue beforeFollow

#1 Apr 30 2008 at 4:36 PM Rating: Default
Hey all,

So here's the thing. I have never played a rogue as the post say. Currently I have a lvl 70 warlock, my pride and joy. Other than that my main alts are a lvl 45 Dra Shaman and a level 33 Dra Hunter.
So my question is what races you feel are the best as a rogue and why?

Do you mean what races are best as a rogue? Or did I misread?

If you are a horde player, go undead for WotF. IF you are alliance go gnome or go home. (my opinion is biased but thats what i think)

You got 1/2.

The two races for rogues are human and undead.

No, I don't care about what you have to say. I can stay on target in T6 better than any other race, and humans get more expertise, and have perception.

Also for humans the Reputation trait is really nice.

Saves you alot of money if you're buying Rep items, and saves time if you're grinding it out.

I know that it saved me alot of money when getting to exalted with Aldor, and alot of time while getting Revered with Consortium for my Fel Leather stuff. Not to mention how easy ti was to get Exalted with Sha'tar and Cenarion Expedition.

Human Rogues are so ridiculously OP in arena versus other Rogues ... it makes me angry to be honest. Perception needs a nerf.

So because Humans have a racial that gives them an advantage against two classes and Night Elves that trait needs a nerf?

If every class could stealth you might have a point, but only Two can. Rogues and Druids, and then you have Night Elves. Thats it.

I enjoy the hell out of my human rogue..for 4 reasons!
1. I'm a combat rogue so the + in swords is great.
2. +Spirit is nice to for increased health regen
3. Can't stand gnomes and 2 many Nelf Rogues.
4. Cause I like humans lol <<< not really a reason but basicly they all have there +'s and -'s. Pick the one you want to look at for 70 levels and stick with it.

Gnome rogues though are great for pvp i've heard cause there hard to track. Havn't seen to many Dwarf rogues though...wonder why. Rogues Pwn!

No discussion needed, it's pretty simple FOR PVP:

Horde: undead.

Alliance: human.

Period.

If you PVE, really anything will do.

And what are a vast majority of strats involved in killing druids?

Finding them in stealth and locking them in cat/caster form long enough to burst them down and do a good enough chunk of damage to them that they can't recover.

What neuters a rogue's main advantage in arena? Getting them out of stealth, or getting them to burn Vanish early.

What are the top two classes in 2v2 and 3v3?

Rogue and druid.

'Nuff said.
