Lvl50 Torn to stay Balance or go FeralFollow

Agreed. The standard feral build takes furor, naturalist then ooc and can put the remaining points anywhere. IMOTW is borderline useless for a feral (one could argue for any spec but I only play feral so I will save my sweeping judgments for that one).

To think of what you get with furor -- you can shift into bear and automatically charge to interrupt a caster. You can shift into bear and automatically stun a mob w bash. Shift into cat and have enough energy to get one combo point on the mob right away w mangle (setting up another stun after you get maim at 64). It is arguably one of the top feral talents.

Sweet, ty for the reply. I'm going to respec, again, when I hit 58 (outlands) so I'll put my points to better use.

I guess another question, are Brutal Impact and Feral Charge worth keeping? I have both of them atm but not sure if I should keep them when I respec.

Many thanks

Yes, Extra time when you pouce or Bash is always nice(it is time that you are not taking hits)

And charge is a nice interupt to use in pvp, and in conjunction with Bash....sets up a nice mini CC for us druids.

Feral charge is also absolutely key if you want to tank. If a mob runs after your healer, you can charge that mob rather than lumber over to it as it pounds on your clothie.

Okay, I respeced and followed the directions from everyone that posted. So thank you again.

I am currently lvl60 and when I get to 61, I'll be able to get OOC. I will then put points in feral charge and brutal impact. By that time I'll be 64 and have 6 more points to spend in the feral tree.

I want to thank everyone that has posted.

I am really enjoying the feral side of life and I tanked ramps for the first time yesterday. I was competing with a lvl70 rogue for aggro and managed to keep it most of the time.

Thanks again to everyone :)

Three years ago I DARED to go balance on my first character - a NE female druid. Dared, I emphasize, as I was questioned everywhere I went (waiting for a boat, in PUG's, running thru towns, etc., even by my friends and guild laughed) regarding what kind of a druid was I? I was told I didnt know what I was doing...I wasnt feral or resto! I was even called a noob at Level 70. BUT, I was not daunted - I could fight, heal, entangle, moonie, call upon my treant friends, heal more, fight again, cure poison, cure curses, send flying swarms of insects into enemies' faces (ah, the beauty of an insect swarm on a helboar), and on and on.

Suddenly, about a year ago, I started noticing balance druids popping up everywhere. It was a protest against being boxed into a feral or resto druid mode. For the most part, I soloed to Level 70, which I am extremely proud. Balance druids - We are Everywhere! We are Everywhere!
