Hmmm...I'm wondering if maybe I've gone a little overboard on the spirit.

Armory
My stats are currently (unbuffed)
1655 +heal
2% haste
9335 mana (483, or +368 intellect)
229/666 mp/5 while/not casting
609 spirit

Before a few upgrades I got today had 587 spirit unbuffed...at that point kings was giving me ~37 mp/5. Uh...am I focusing too much on spirit? (In my guild, healers are better geared than anyone, so my lack of +heals is made up for by my tree aura benefitting them).

Your stats are pretty similar to me in my healing gear. I know our regular tree has over 800 spirit (I checked the other day when I had to respec heals for raid so I knew which one of us to put in the tank group). Mind you, I don't even look at the spirit on my gear when choosing upgrades - up until now I just looked at +heal & Mp5, with the recent changes spirit is more important.

With those stats, pretty sure you are OK to do all of the T4 stuff and well into TK & SSC and your spirit seems fine (certainly not too high).

Don't understand your concerns. It's not like you're really sacrificing anything else over spirit - other than with your choice of weapon maybe.

Yeah I've passed on better weapons for the sake of spirit...only upgrade for me is in TK or heroic MgT. I'm afraid of H MgT...so I guess I'll wait til High Astromancer Solarion. I really only look at spirit on new gear...generally the only time spirit's going to be higher is in raids, and if I'm getting gear with more spirit, most of the time it's got more +heals. My mp/5 is fine...I had 377/1023 last run, and that was before I got an additional 22 spirit.

I may try to get the Light's Justice (already have Moroes' Off-hand) and the T4 helm (with the mana-return meta gem) for doing 5-mans, where I am usually without other healers or paladin blessings.

Looks pretty good to me. Let's throw some stuff together:
Fully buffs, Kings + AI + DS + Elixir of Mastery + Elixir of Draenic Wisdom:
Intellect: 645
Spirit: 813
Spirit Regen: 289mp5 while casting
Total Regen: 317mp5
That may or may not be the elixirs you're using, but those maximize regen.

By switching to Malorne helm, you drop 4mp5 from spirit and 21 raw healing, but gain 10mp5 and the proc (don't know how you heal, but it's safe to assume at least 8-10mp5 from that). That is discounting Innervate, but in my experience Innervates rarely go to the druids themselves. If you want more regen, Malorne is the way to go.

For your weapon, versus your current one
- Solarian staff: +5mp5 while casting, +67healing
- Light's Justice + Badge Offhand: -3mp5 +89healing
I'd say Solarian's staff is better, I think it's hard to justify losing 8mp5 for only 22 healing. If Solarian is quite a ways off for you, I definitely *would* get Light's + badges, though, that's a huge boost in healing for a tiny drop in regen.

If you're really concerned about healing, Belt of the Long Road boosts your regen by a little (4) and healing by a really large chunk (27), and is definitely worth dropping epic gems in. Same with the robes from badges or ZA (ZA has higher regen, badges higher healing). The bracers from Heroic MrT and the gloves from badges both give a good boost to your healing, though not a whole lot for regen. With your current gear, the badges ring would boost healing by 22 and have a tiny boost in regen (2) despite the lack of spirit.

Fake edit: Damn, after doing all the stuff I realized I forgot fishy sticks and Improved DS. Oh well.

Stacking spirit is not necessarily a bad thing at all, but one thing as a resto druid that I would never do is actually use spirit gems. As a resto druid especially if you arent the druid going into the tanks group I think you would gain more benefit from the healing/spirit gems or the healing/mp 5 gems. Plus heal is the most important stat for a resto druid and you shouldnt be having problems with regen at all anyway so I would quit sticking pure spirit gems in and the lights justice may not be a bad idea or even the new badge weapons is incredible.
