No Intellect?Follow

As I gradually build my item set with more badge gear, im noticing that alot of it (tanking gear) has no intellect on it at all. I'm wondering how many other pally tanks compensate for this. I know as we get healed we receive 10% of mana from heals. Is this enough to keep us up in mana? Or do we need to keep a few items with intellect on it. I am already well above uncrushable, 104.5 something, almost 13k health around 4800 mana. Of course i want to continue to increase health and armor to reduce amount of damage coming in.

I have noticed that the Tier items for pally tanks does have stamina and intellect on it. So im guessing a mixture of the items. But the first tier stuff to drop is from Curator. Which my guild has yet to down.

I guess im at a crossroads here, i want to move out of the blue items i have and start getting more of the Epic tanking gear, but is my intellect going to suffer? I already have to down grade gear in non-heroic instances just to take some damage to get healed, i don't even cast HS much at all, i still get plenty of threat with Consecration. Really no issues with threat for me.

Precisely: a lack of Intellect will not be an issue for you. If it is, then you outgear whatever encounter you are on and can remedy this by 1) downgrading or 2) slapping on a piece or 2 of healing gear. Occasionally in Heroics I swap in my healing shield and possibly 1 or 2 other pieces of my healing kit so that I take more damage and have a larger mana pool. Works great.
