Hey nooblets his issue he wants to level faster. Where did he say wanted to learn how to be better at running instances?
He's a new player trying to learn the game. Not some alt who wants to hit 70 in a month. Right now he's struggling and keeps dying, faster for him means being able to survive. Learning the game mechanics is a good way to start if you want to get better and level faster.

Chase if you want to follow these nooblets advice and run instances go for it but I guaruntee it will take twice as long to level. When you hit 2 months before these noobs then you can learn to tank the non heroics etc if that's what you want to do. Personally I play a warrior to stomp on people in PvP.
Granted it is faster to quest then PuG instances for most people but if you can get a solid group of friends together, I garantee you can rack in some pretty crazy xp.
Just the other night in Maraudon on our lvl 45 alts we were averaging 36K/hour for 2 hours and 20+K for completing a few of the quest in there. Half of it was spent afk or just talking, we're very casual. If you can get 100+K xp in 2 hours solo questing at lvl 45, you should write a guide cause you're really good.
Add to that the obvious advantage of being inside an instanced zone on a PvP server and you just made your xp/hour go up compared with questing.
To the OP:
Like Meatballsub said, read the stickies. There's really good information for a new player. It would really help if you would tell us a bit more also. What lvl are you? is warrior your first character in WoW or did you try some other class before? Do you have problem with specific situation or you simply can't survive a fight against a single mob of your lvl?
Tell us more and we'll be happy to help you out. And don't listen to that other guy I quoted. Not only instances will get you some nice xp, teach you a lot about the game and can get you the best gear but it can be a lot of fun also. That's what it's all about right?
