Hey all, just want to update you guys on the progress from my last post

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/class.html?wclass=2;mid=120653487681464991#m1206619706289686024

I cant thank you all enough for the helpfull infromation that can be found if you look for it on these forums (READ THE STICKIES). I have gone from a first time Noob tankadin to a respectable figure in guild. Thanks to all who posted in my "first time" topic and to all the hard work on the stickies from the fourm leaders.

Here is my new armory:

http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Gnomeregan&n=Faylis

Still looking for the devilshark cape from SV, and i have a felsteel helm that i swap in for 5 man's and such, but i think i am close to where i need to be for starting kara.

So here is where i am now, working on shattered Sun rep to get shield (2k away), and running SV twice a day to get cape. Any suggestions on things i could change?

Well thanks again for all the help!

Huge improvement, you have a good amount of spell dmg, you're uncrushable, and your stam looks good for what gear you've got. Gratz on your changes, you're looking damn snazzy!

The only note I would make is your Meta Gem. I read some theorycraft on the choice between the 2 meta's for pally tanks. Other than bosses like Moroes and Prince; the 18 Stam Gem will benefit you more. Only the bosses that hit at a very quick rate and AoE trash pulls will you benefit from your current meta gem.

Though if you're at the magic 102.4% avoidance thanks to the 12 Def on that gem I'll put my foot in my mouth right now. =P

Gratz again fellow Tankadin

Dayum, I'll be using your character as an example now: Only thing I would change are your gloves, I think you can find something with higher stamina/intellect.

I didn't check your profile cause my computer doesn't like the Blizz sites very much, but consider having a Cloak of Eternity crafted for you if you can afford to lose the avoidance Devilshark gives you. I don't mean stop trying for Devilshark, just use Eternity as a holdover til it drops.

The mats for Eternity are pretty cheap, and it shouldn't be too hard to find someone to craft it for you for a 5-10g fee.

Grats on getting the gear up to scratch. Once you get the Libram of Repentance you will probably need to tweak it a little more to get the most out of your gear, possibly giving you a chance to get some more stamina or spell damage in via enchants/armor patches

I am running with the libram of repentance now, will be hitting revered with SSO today so i can pick up my new shield. The last things i am trying to get are the devilshark cape to replace the Ironscale war cloak, and to uprade my leg patch from clefthide to nethercleft.

Nice then. You logged out with the Libram of Wracking =O

Levelling up your enchanting skill could also increase your stats via the ring enchants (Lower City Rep for +4 stats req 375 skill / KoT Rep for + 12 Spell Damage req 360 skill) freeing up room elsewhere for more stamina.
