Was wondering if anyone has worked out just what Spirit does for us now that 2.4 has changed it up. Thanks.
Same as always, just a bit more regen because of the mechanic change...
However it is still not as good as MP/5 due to Shaman not having a talent that benefits from Spirit (i.e....'allows X amount of your regen to continue while casting'...or something like that). The regen while casting is what you want.

They didn't change theFive Second Rule, they just increased how much mana is regenerated from spirit. Without Meditation, Intensity, or Arcane Meditation, spirit is still useless to us.
I've tried stacking spirit on my resto shaman with Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon and Bangle of Endless Blessings. They are no substitute for an actual regen talent: my mana regen was about half of what it was with m/5 gear.
