Frankly, there's so little commentary and drop info about Mistshroud gear, that I have to wonder. The gear looks (statwise) pretty sweet.

Mistshroud gear is superior-quality mail gear that comes with 4 random enchantment suffixes: Of the Bandit, of the Soldier, of the Elder, and of the Invoker. There are 8 pieces of it, and it's not a real set in that there's no set bonus.

However, it looks high-quality for pre-Kara 70s.

It's got a low drop rate, BOP, and then you may not get the exact suffix you want. Does anyone here have a piece? And do people not gun for it because of the relative ease to get equivalent or better gear?
