Ranged Kick Macro (ShS)Follow

My new favorite macro:

/cast Shadowstep
/cast Kick

ShS doesn't trigger the global cooldown. You have to double tap this macro, but it works very well. For even better results, set it [target=focus] and use it in arena to instantly switch to your focus, Shadowstep them and Kick them.

Excuse me while I go try to some some FelDom.

I'm not gonna lie, there aree so many thigns I want to do exactly at the same tiem I ShS (blind/kick/KS), but normally a .1 second delay is fine so I just use fingers to hit Shift1 (ShS) and my thumb to hit U (blind), 5 (KS) or 3 (kick). No room to bind every ShS + something into a macro.

I have 2 bound - Kick and KS.

They simply HAVE to be as fast as possible.

Stopping FelDom is near impossible - when trying to intercept and stop a 0.5 second cast you have to be on the ball. Every 0.1 second counts. Even for 1.5 second spells, every 0.1 second will help.

As far as KS goes, When a Rogue pops sprint AND evasion against you, landing a KS is very hard. ShS->KS macro makes it land 90%+ of the time.

I use a G15 Keyboard, though, so I have about 18 buttons that you probably don't :P To be honest, I'm addicted to it, and can't do anything other than farm on my laptop when I'm without it. Relying on a discontinued keyboard for the lose :(

Yeah, I agree. I've been using macros like this on my G keys for a while for basically all of my ShS stuff. I have an entire set of 6 buttons set up for it.

Sap, CS, Garrote on the top row, Shiv, KS, and Kick on the bottom.

I don't even try to stop felDom if I'm not in melee range :P Not that I need to, I never kill the pet first (I had one team before my partner went emo and quit, and that was double rogue (in greens lol) - no time to kill pets).

As for the Rogues - yeah, I have missed it once when they used sprint and evasion. I've got pretty good at landing it though. I'm just really unsure where I'd put the button, as I use a totally standard keyboard and mouse.

mousewheel down: kick
mousewheel up: blind
mousewheel press: vanish
on stealth menu, CS is 1, garrote 2, sap 3
on normal menu, KS is 2

I'm not doing arena yet, so I wouldn't call me any authority, but it seems to work ok in pvp

You only missed it ONCE?

Either you're god or you play against bad Rogues. Good Rogues twist too much and too fast, in my opinion, to reliably land KS. Even a quick jump-through-180 isn't reliable for me.

I play against bad rogues, no question. 1500 is not known for a high concentration of pros, nor is AV XD
