I have been leveling feral from 1-70... at 70 I found a guild that needed a resto druid, so I went full resto (61 point in resto)... but 61 points in resto makes soloing a pain due to the time taken to take anything down :)

I switched to restokin.. I'm having fun! :D I have no balance gear, so my healing kit (which has 1560 healing bonus) makes a not so bad starting kit with about 600dmg bonus! I will definitely build a balance kit.. and maybe respecc balance to see the whole potential of it! :D

I haven't tried healing an instance yet, they only group I could have found was a reg durnhold to let another healer get used to heal... and they already had a backup healer.. but so far, I cant really be killed by normal mobs =)

I had a chance of testing the build yesterday in instance/raid.

First I did Heroic BM with a pug. We had one dead in the whole run (I was silenced and he aggroed the last boss.. he got one shotted =))... I didnt use any pots nor my innervate. No food, no elixirs... My HOTs are not as strong as in full 61 resto.. but yet, I kept the tank alive with hots without problems. Mana regen was, of course, not a problem.

As the BM run ended, the guild leader asked me if I was interested in raiding. So we did Gruul (they are in T6 content usually), so it wasn't too hard... even if we were 24.. (it was the first time I saw High king die and Gruul too)! On the healing meter, I was 4th, with a small lead on a tree healer. Keep in mind the other healer are healing MH and BT and my gear comes from Kara :D

I'm not sure I would raid progression with this build tho. It's great for 5mans, the weekly kara run.. but in the end, you still miss some nice bonuses from the resto tree. I will keep this build as long as I can for the moment, I love being able to solo without having to respecc!
