Does race really matter on a SPriest.Follow
Been reading on the racial abilities on the alliance side.What to pick hmmmm.Human or NE.Both not bad racial abilities but humans....welll i'll let you decide!
NE's make the best Spriests on the Alliance side due to their extra DoT. Desperate Prayer is a racial oriented more towards Discipline in PvP.
And Feedback is utterly useless, unless someone has found a niche reason to use it.

I'd take draenei over a night elf.

I sometimes wish i would have gone NE just to get that DoT but when i'm grinding for rep that lil extra boost reminds me why I'm a humie.Dranai are nice but why do you need an extra HoT that dosent scale as well as Renew? The rest is personal opinion I guess.....

It might not be as good as renew but it doesn't cost any mana. But it's the other spells, the group mana over time spell and the group +spell hit. Those tip the scales in favor of draenei priests.
I'm sort of glad I rolled a Night Elf Priest. Of course, Draenei weren't in the game back then (she's an old lass dating back to release) and Starshards along with Elune's Grace were utterly useless and I only picked a Night Elf character because of the mount (this was before the grind to exalted was made easy and before Battlegrounds even existed).
Now that Starshards is no longer a channeled spell and Elune's Grace now affects both ranged and melee physical damage, not just ranged, Night Elf racials are looking better.
Shadowmeld has always been priceless.

Please "talk up" if your comprehension white-shifts. I will use simple-happy language-words to help you understand.
I'd agree w/ MentalFrog that a Draenei makes a wonderful SPriest. We've got one in our guild and watching the racials work is fun. :) The Symbol of Hope spell is not as good as Innervate, but it IS group wide.
For Human Priests, Desperate Prayer is a nice "Oh Carp" button (use it fairly requently when OOM or in on-the-move situations where I can't take 1.5 or 2.5 seconds for a decent heal and Renew's just not working fast enough). Feedback ... is so useless, it's not even funny. It's even more useless than pre-review Elune's Grace. Sheesh. Before 1.10, it was sorta less useless, but still almost worthless. Now, it's one of the few abilities across all my toons (Scare Beast is another on my Hunter) that's not even on the action bar.

I think Undead on hordeside is best shadowpriest race. Devourning plague is just so nice. :)
