My spec is one point off from the cookie cutter spec(damn double clicking mouse button), but I won't spend all that gold for such a small increase in DPS.

My gear is about halfways enchanted, with head, shoulders, wrists, and 2H weapon done.

Trinket will be changed out for raiding.

In my mind, I'm missing one piece of gear to finish off, the leggings of desolation. These will add 35 + 12 hit rating since I already have the gloves, putting me above hitcap by 9, meaning I can re-gem my shoulders for +16AP or +8 agil instead of the +8 hit I have in my red gem slot.

Now, about my ranged weapon...

I already stupidly sold my valanos bow without thinking about it once I had enough points to buy the S1 X-bow. But its soooooooo slooooooow. My pew pews have become pew drinkcoffee pews now. Although I seem to be doing much better on the damage charts in PvP, I wanted to know if the S1 bow will be good for raiding, and what kind of shot rotation I might be able to follow. Otherwise, I'm guessing either a re-spec is in order for improved hawk, or buying another damn V-bow and scope.

Let me know what you all think. I believe I'm more than ready for Kara now, but advice on how to increase DPS would be lovely as well.

Edit: Forgot to mention, this post was made because the acquisition of the S3 axe finally means I have no more green gear on my character, other than trinkets. : )

you need to get your gear fully enchanted

chest: +6 stats
feet: +12 agi
hands: +15 agi
legs: +40 ap +10 crit armor kit, until you get better pants, then put the upgraded version on
back: +12 agi

Do that and you will gain
+55 agi
+40 ap
+12 crit

fyi, that is a lot of damage

The 50 AP and 12 crit on my server goes for 350-500 gold. Area 52 FTW.

Sucks.

I don't mean to be nit-pickey... but a green trinket still means green gear. I still have a blue trinket, so I don't look at myself and say "FULL epics!"

Either run Black Morass until you get the Hourglass of the unraveller, or go to Mechanar, and get the Abacus of Violent Odds (The hourglass is usually better). I'm also assuming that you're saving up badges to get the Bloodlust Brooch

Either one of those will last you until you can either get the Dragonspine Trophy from Gruul or the Tsunami Talisman from SSC.
