Here is a Simplified Comparison with JUST STATS ALONE. I just basically rounded things off.
My Weapon now:
Crystal Forged
+50 Stamina
Equip: Increases attack power by 80.
Equip: Improves critical strike rating by 27.
2H Weapon I've looked at:
Legacy
+46 Stamina
+40 Agility
Equip: Increases attack power by 80.
Equip: Restores 8 mana per 5 sec.
My Comment: My Disco Axe is JUST as Good stats for stats... ~1% Crit with the 27 Crit rating or about ~40Agi
Hellforged Halberd
+26 Agility
Requires Honor Hold - Revered
Equip: Increases attack power by 92.
Equip: Improves hit rating by 19.
My Comment: I gain Hit rating which is good, but less Crit Rating since this is only about ~%.5 Crit and loose 500HP
Sonic Spear
+35 Agility
+30 Stamina
Equip: Increases attack power by 62.
Equip: Improves hit rating by 24.
My Comment: If MurMur was not SOOO Stingy about this Spear, I would have it by now..it's too bad that he really is holding on to this dear Spear for the life of me../sigh
Vengeful Gladiator's Waraxe
+62 Stamina
Equip: Increases attack power by 92.
Equip: Your attacks ignore 98 of your opponent's armor.
Equip: Improves critical strike rating by 46.
Equip: Improves your resilience rating by 33.
Equip: Improves hit rating by 15.
My Comment: Now I know why a TON of Hunters roll with this, but I'm trying my best to stay PvE on this toon...It definitely is an Upgrade to mine, thats for sure
My Armory I lost a TON of +Hit Points after a few gear change (Some leather gear from Kurenai, and Consortium).
Do I have any other options here besides the 150 Badge reward from the new isle?

The season 3 axe is great for PVE. It's the best for raiding IMO until t5 or later.
Why are you trying to stay PvE on your toon? Get the best upgrades available, why bother with where they come from? Get the S3 axe and save your badges for other stuff other than the badge axe.
Your Crystal Forged is NOT JUST as good as Legacy. You ignored the 40 AP you get from the agility alongside the ~27 crit you compared it to. But both of them are disco axes. :P

I knew i missed something...that would be the 40AP from the Agi on the Legacy.
Just to throw something else in, you listed Legacy so I assume you're raiding. Not sure if this is available to you or not, but

Compared with Waraxe enchanted with +35agi (the other biggest upgrade), enchanted with dual agility, you get:
+35ap
-20 crit rating
-15 hit rating
+142 armor penetration
Which is a significant upgrade *if* you can take the hit to your hit rating. At the moment, the extra hit rating from the Waraxe is probably better, but if you can get that last 26 hit from somewhere else, the daggers are really good.

Ahh that damn stingy Murmur.....finally dropped Sonic for me the other night! I'm just happy the other hunter that was in the party was still all googly eyed over his shiny purple daggers from kara that he didnt roll on it :)

Between the Sonic Spear and the Hellforged Halberd, they're very similar. I had to work up to Revered with HH to get the Halberd because Murmur just wouldn't drop the Spear for me.
A week or two after I got the Halberd, I replaced it with the Waraxe, and got Legacy the very next day. I enchanted both with +35 agility, but Legacy is sitting in my bank until I try SV again... which probably won't be for a while, because I like topping the damage charts.
There's no shame in running a few arenas a week to get a weapon that is superior to another weapon that has 20% chance to drop from an event that has a 33% chance of appearing once a week. It could take you a very long time to get Legacy if you're not really lucky.
And come to think of it... I see way fewer hunters running around with the Sonic Spear since the Vengeful Glad's Waraxe was introduced. I mostly see people with Crystal Forged while they work up for their Waraxe.

alternatively, there's also 2x Breeching Comet, 2x Sunbreaker and a bunch more of 1H weapons that are options...

I went through a similiar situation as yourself with the different weapons and actually had all but the Sonic Spear still.
I'm currently useing the Vengeful Waraxe for raiding BM spec because of the AP, +crit, stam and hit rating. I started out with the Crystalforged Axe, but switched to Hellforged Halberd for more AP and Agi over the +27 crit.
Soon after getting the Hellforged Halberd and putting savagery on it, I found out about the Vengeful Waraxe and quickly bought it (1000 Arena points is UBER CHEAP). Compared to the Crystalforge, the PVP axe is superior in EVERY way.
Dropped the Crystalforge.
I held on to the Hellforged Halberd for the Agi because that's the only thing going for it. Until Legacy dropped. Then I dropped the Halberd.
The way I see it, Vengeful Waraxe is the weapon you want for BM or MM.
I kept Legacy for SV spec (which I'm still working on).
Murmur can keep his Sonic Spear and go to hell.
Murmur finally dropped the Sonic Spear for me on my 11th Shadow Labyrinth run. He also dropped it on my 12th run. That one got disenchanted. <cry>
