So I took about 6 months off from the game and I've been back for a few weeks, my old guild (I'm stuck in the alt guild till I can get better gear) is pretty much rockin T5 gear and I just hit 70 like a week ago.
Anyway I was asking if I should work on the Spellstrike set and another lock in the guild said no, the badge items are better and easier to get, yet when I check http://wowmb.net/forums/showthread.php?t=23586 it seems that the Spellstrike set should last me until T5?
I need serious upgrades here is my Armory profile, any other suggested upgrades are appreciated.

I plan to save badges for:
Shawl of Shifting Probabilities
Tormented Demonsoul Robes
Runed Spell-cuffs
Enslaved Doomguard Soulgrips
Voodoo-woven Belt
Boots of Incantations
But it could be a while untill I have them any suggestions on quickly obtained gear would be appreciated (besides the spellstrike set).

Neck: PvP haste neck
Shoulder: Heroic MrT
Back: Get the one from normal MrT or from Kara, instead of badges. Lots of +hit there for a minimal loss of other stats.
Chest: Pre-badges, get the one from heroic MrT
Wrist: Might want to get the Bracers of Nimble Though crafted, instead of badges. Depends highly on availability of Hearts of Darkness, but I got mine crafted at 300g/heart, which isn't too bad. Before that or badges, normal MrT has haste bracers.
Hands: Normal MrT has some great +hit gloves, might be better than badges if you're not capped.
Waist: Get Belt of Blasting crafted instead, 30 less badges for 15 more primals, but it'll last you forever.
Feet: Might want to just hold off and get the ones from Hydross once you can get into raids.
Rings: Badges, Chess event in Kara, and/or normal MrT are better than at least your Attumen ring, former two better than rep ring as well.
Trinket: Darkmoon Card: Crusade is great. Timbal's from heroic MrT if you're staying Afflic, and if not it will at least tide you over till you get a better one as destro.
Weapon: Heroic MrT, lasts until Zul'jin or BT (as destro) or until the badges one (as afflic)
Offhand: Fetish, from badges, before that anything you can find.
Wand: Badges
Summary: Lots of Magister's Terrace :p
