I find the elitistjerks posts for the classes to be almost always up to date and very informative. Here is the healadin one. That being said, they almost always focus on top-level raiding and have very limited info for anything else.

I have to disagree. I think the sticky is still very valid, and lists some great gear. Yes, there are a few items that are not listed, but it is still very good and very useful.
Also, if you have any questions about Holy Paladins, just create a post. It's very simple. There are many folks on this forum that would be happy to help you out.
Is there something in particular you were looking for?

about the 1 topic for every question ... i rarely do that, usually someone else did it before me, so , search is the first option to use.
about the gear in the sticky topic, yes it's good, as the title says "pre-kara" gear... as i am way beyond that, it was good for some tips, but nothing more :) at this moment.

I'm a little confused, so please bear with me. If you are well beyond Kara, I would assume that you know what kind of gear you are looking for. Then, you can use the item search function to find whatever you need. There aren't that many options (relative to pre-Kara).
The pre-Kara guide is more for inexperienced players who need help and guidance as to what kind of gear/stats to look for. The way I understand it, the guide is supposed to help new lvl 70 folks who don't really understand what kind of stats or gear to look for. Those are the people most in need of a guide.
Once you progress past Kara, I would hope that you understand the key stats that you would want, and then could serach for gear with those stats.
Again, I may have misunderstood what you are looking for, and apologixe in advance if I did.

Actually, I'd say if you're well beyond Kara, then Elitist Jerks would be perfect for you.
tips and tricks are always welcomed. No one can claim that he knows them all, new strategies are formed all the time
