nearing my first 60, what now?Follow

#1 Apr 20 2008 at 2:13 AM Rating: Decent
Wow, i never could have hoped that i would ever reach 60 with a class but i finally done it with my shadow priest :D. I really enjoy playing him, the versatality is great and soloing is no real problem for me since i keep my gear well upgraded. I got enough gold to buy the level 60 mount and you would say that outland is nearby.

Or is it? Since 60 opens up a lot of new posibilities (as far as i have heard) i wonder if you guys would have any suggestions on what to do first. I would like to explore the game fully and since this is a new experience for me i am in no rush to get to 70 really... Any ideas would be welcome, thanks a ton :D.

Peace out, evilgarbagio.

60 opens up new possibilities?

All it gave me was the ability to kill things in HFP..

Congratulations on 60.

Outlands offers new areas, new quests, better gear, and more gold. Your main focus should be getting TBC and starting the quests in Outland.

You can go back with your guild and do things like MC or Ony anytime. Right now Ramparts await. To the Portal....

If you really like PvP, I'd get a bunch in before 70. At 70, PvP as a shadow priest is a downward spiral. Get it in at 59 or 69.

I'm kinda in the same boat, just turned 63, halfway to 64 picking up a quest every 5 feet in the Outlands. The gear is definately better, the quests more interesting (who dosent like to bomb the crap out of demons while riding a Griffon?) and one thing I can agree with, go Pvp at 59. i started at 60 and it was a horrible beginning, I got my *** handed to me for a couple of levels. All I can say is the grind is a bit tougher after 60, but if you do the quests (and there are a cubic metric buttload of 'em) you'll do just fine. My plan is to PvP and level at the same time, get as much good gear as possible and then see what the big instances are like, and learn from people who have done them a few times and read up, do some research on those instances. I'm lookin forward to the (almost) end game, it'll be a whole new game or so i've heard.
My advice to you....keep goin!
