Mayhem Projection Goggles ou Stormherald?Follow

#1 Apr 19 2008 at 12:29 PM Rating: Decent
Hi there! I want to change one of my gathering profession to level up engineering or blacksmithing to get the Mayhem Projection Goggles or Stormherald !

My question is which one will fit the best for a ret pally? Which one is the easiest to get and which one will probably cost the less?? Any information will be welcome! Thanks! :)

I would have to say blacksmithing, the goggles are nice but for a melee class the quality of your weapon is the most important factor in deciding how much dps you can do (behind player), I would rather have a kickass weap and not so good helm than the other way around!

the goggles are the single best head piece for Ret. Stormherald ranks about 5 or 6 for weapons. The Blade of Harbingers is about equal for pve and can be purchased with badges.

Keep in mind your server has to have people in sunwell, and people that are willing to sell the goggles (meaning they have a surplus). On frostmane horde has only had a single pattern drop out of 3 sunwell guilds, and it was the resto shaman ones.

It looks like it's almost impossible to get them then or I'll have to wait a long long time! So tje goggles are better, but Stormherald is easier to get! I guess I'll go with the mace to start and when it's gonna be easier to get the goggles I'll learn engineering! Looks like a good way to go...

This also depends on whether you want to primarily PvE or PvP. For PvE I would definitely go with the goggles if you can get them. In PvP Ret really needs the stun proc from the Stormherald since they lack a practical interrupt; it's just about impossible to kill a healer otherwise.

Well, I've finaly made my choice, engineering! I'm at 150 right now! Maybe later I'll go for blacksmithing too...maybe! :P
