eviscerate/deadly throw macro questionFollow

#1 Apr 18 2008 at 12:31 AM Rating: Decent
Hi folks I was just wondering if it was possible to have a macro which does evis when in melee range and also switches over to deadly throw if you are out of melee range?

I have no idea how to go about doing this or even if it is possible, if anyone can help me out i would be very grateful.

/cast [modifier:shift] Deadly Throw; Eviscerate

You'll have to hit shift and that button to use DT. Not entirely sure if a:

/cast Eviscerate
/cast Deadly Throw

Would work or not. Probably would, try it.

I think you'll run into global cooldown issues with /cast /cast

Fine, I'll elaborate on why it's an incredibly stupid idea.

Situation: you're in arena, and you're about to evis a clothie to kill them. Only you're snared and they get a step or two on you and all of a sudden as you hit your evis/DT macro, you DT them for 1.9k instead of the 3k crit you would have gotten.

They live, get healed. Now the match lasts longer. Had you just been hitting an evis button, you wouldn't have wasted 5 CPs like that.

Thanks for clearing that up, its was only an idea I had rolling around was not sure if it would even work or how it would pan out, out in the game world i've never done arena so certain situations i have not experienced yet.
